Stone is the one material nobody can judge from a photograph. A four-inch chip tells you almost nothing about how a slab reads across nine feet of island, how the veining runs, how it changes when the light moves. Most people in this trade ask you to decide from that chip, in your kitchen, on a clipboard.
So we built somewhere you can go instead. Display kitchens you can put your hands on. A covered gallery of samples, racked and lit. A yard of full-size slabs you can walk between. An outdoor pavilion where the exterior work stands in the actual weather it has to live in.
You choose the piece. Not the category, not the sample chip — the piece.

The Backyard Blueprint Walkthrough.
A private design session at the Chapin showroom. Tour the showroom, the pavilion and the covered slab gallery. Hand-pick your stone in person, by eye, not from a sample chip. Spend the hour with a master craftsman rather than a salesperson.
You leave with a hand-drawn concept of your own space and a fixed all-in price. Anyone can show you a computer render that never matches the finished room. We draw your space by hand and lock the number.
